Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

This coffee shop was hopping! My friend recommended we go here, so we did after we ate lunch next door at Marty B’s. I needed an afternoon pick me up! Loved the salted caramel mocha freeze I got.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Marty B's coffee with my son. We had a private event scheduled and brought in a beautiful backdrop for the occasion. The staff was incredibly helpful in assisting with the movement of items and provided a warm welcome. When we picked up our backdrop Sunday morning, we decided to stay and enjoy a caramel macchiato and for breakfast we had a chicken biscuit and brisket taco. So yummy! Highly recommend. Also check with them for private events!

Marty B’s is a hidden gem outside of Dallas! I ventured here while in FloMo and had a great experience. There is tons of parking, lots of indoor seating, and a super cute outdoor patio with picnic tables. It definitely gives the Hill Country vibe they’re going for! Even though there was lots of seating, it was very crowded and difficult to find a table inside - I went around 11am on a Saturday, so it makes sense it was so busy. I ordered a honey latte with almond milk and it was DELICIOUS. Not too sweet, not too milky, perfect. I almost ordered a second one it was that good. I also ordered the Turkey and Egg Scrambler bowl which was so fresh - the perfect post-workout meal. I feel like this would be a wonderful place to work from on a weekday, but the weekend was definitely crowded.
